This Region also beholds Mystical Folklore and Ancient Stories that build an even more captivating allure to the Far West of Nepal.The local Saukas people of Changrue village collects Yarshagumba (Cordyceps) during harvesting season between May and June in the Northern Part specially around Api Base Camp.

Far Western Region is accessible by One Hour City flight from Kathmandu to its biggest city Dhangadhi and around 12 hours road drive. You can fly to Nepaljung in Mid Western Region and drive to Far West as well.
