During Luxury Holidays in Nepal, we will stay at traditionally built luxury hotels and resorts offering the highest standards of personal services and comfort in the region. In the Annapurna Region, we will sleep in the former Gurkha soldiers managed Ker and Downey luxury lodges located in the picturesque villages of Birethanti, Majgaun, and Dhampus. Each lodge features a modern shower with hot and cold running water and standard flush toilets which are unique features in the mountains. Professionally trained English speaking Nepalese guides lead the tours and treks. The trek follows easy graded trails in the stunning Annapurna region. An average days trek is 3-4 hours. The trip gives splendid views across the terraces to the rivers and mountains. Each village passed gives a fascinating glimpse of Nepalese life  with families using traditional tools to pound corn, weave cloth, re-thatch their houses, and build neat dry-stone walls.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, we will meet you before immigration and assist for Visa, Immigration and luggage collection. Then we will drive to hotel. After check-in, free time for freshen up and rest. In the evening, we will take you for Nepalese dinner to introduce you with Nepalese Culture and food habit.

Activity Duration:

After breakfast at hotel, we start our day with visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a famous Hindu temple at the bank of holy Bagmati River where Hindu people cremate dead body for salvation. Afterwards, drive to Boudhanath Stupa which is among the biggest Stupas in Asia, and is the center for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. In the late afternoon, we will drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square also called Kasthamandap, from which the name of Kathmandu was originated, where you can see living goddess, Kumari. We around the Freak Street, which used to be very famous in early 1960s to late 1970s for hippies. Here our Kings used to get crowned and solemnized. Interesting things to see at this square are Taleju Temple, Statue of Kalbhairav (the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar and Temple of Kumari. We pay homage to living Goddess, Kumari. This is the mostly affected Square in Kathmandu during the Great Earthquake of April, 2015 and is in renovation process.

After breakfast, we will drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the smallest and the most well preserved of the three medieval principalities of Kathmandu Valley. It is the city of Devotees and interesting places to see are 55 Windows Palace, Durbar Square,Taleju Temple, Royal Bath, Nyathapola Temple, Pottery Square, Dattaraya Square among many more. After Bhaktapur, we will drive to Dhulikhel town, Dhulikhel is a hill station known for stupendous views of the Himalayas over Sunrise and Sunset.

Activity Duration:

After breakfast, we will drive to the airport which takes around 1 hour for your flight to Pokhara. This city is renowned as Nepal's capital for nature and offers breathtaking views of the western Himalayas, lakes and valleys. Upon arrival at the Pokhara airport, we will meet our trek members and drive to Lumle which is the trail head for the trekking. The drive for some time goes along a ridge line in the lower foothills of the Annapurna with panoramic views of the Pokhara Valley and then drops to the Modi Khola Valley ( Khola means river), where the Sanctuary Lodge is located. The location of the lodge serves as a perfect view point for Mount Machhapuchhre (which means fishtail). Following a picnic lunch, you will explore Birethanti. It is a small village set at the foot of the Modi Khola Valley at around 1,100 m.

Following a leisurely breakfast, leave the Sanctuary lodge and head out to Gurung Lodge in Majgaun, approximately 2 hrs easy walking. The lodge is built along the lines of a traditional Nepalese village. Every room has spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains. After lunch at the lodge, you will visit Tanchok Village and visit a house turned ethnic museum where there will be a small talk program about the daily lifestyle of the villagers. You will also get to visit a local school and meet the children and teachers and learn about the education system. Children love to try their English with the visitors.

Activity Duration:

Enjoy breakfast with splendid views of the mountains and the surroundings in the morning. After breakfast, you find yourself back on the trail and trekking through the unspoiled village of Patlekhet. The trail goes through sub-tropical forests that include tree orchids, rhododendrons, and magnolias. There will be a variety of bird life to look out for as well as incredible mountain views. Trekkers in the Spring will be blessed with the colorful flowers. Along the way, you will stop at the village of Pothana where many Tibetan traders live and sell their souvenirs. In about 4 hours or little less, you arrive at the Basanta Lodge in Dhampus. The lodge is centered around an old Gurung village house and offers sweeping views of the entire Annapurna Range. After lunch at the lodge, you might go for an optional walk in the village or just relax at the lodge gazing the mountains and terraced landscape, it is at your leisure.

The last day of the trekking is easy and short. Following breakfast, bid farewell to the friendly staff of Basanta Lodge and descend through the wooded hillside and terraced farmland to Phedi at the valley floor. then we will drive to Pokhara. After spending some time at Lakeside, we will drive to our lodge at the top of the hill. On the way, you may want to stop at the Tibetan refugee camp and pay a visit to the Monastery. We will arrive at the Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge in time for lunch. This boutique lodge is just a half hour drive from Pokhara. Situated on a spectacular hilltop ridge 305 meters above the Pokhara Valley, it has quite the vantage point offering panoramic mountain views of Machhapuchhare, and three of the world's 8,000 m Himalayan peaks, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu.

Enjoy morning tea or coffee with serene views of the mountains. You may go for a pre-breakfast birding tour or take some time for light exercises. Following breakfast, you will have a number of options from a day's walk to Thuloswara Gurung Village or a shorter walk to the charming Begnas Lake. Both the trails take you through several local villages, forests, and terraced farmlands. Or perhaps you would rather drive down to Pokhara and consider the options of taking a Micro light Mountain Flight Or just grab a book from Col. Jimmy’s Library and relax by the pool. After lunch, go for a sightseeing tour in Pokhara, explore the mysterious cave, thrilling waterfall, gorges, and visit the ethnic and mountaineering museums or just take relaxed stroll at the Lakeside Bazaar for souvenirs.

Activity Duration:

After breakfast, bid farewell to Pokhara and head out to the lesser known Bandipur town. Arrive in Dumre (56 km/35 miles) in about 2 hrs and then follow the uphill road for another 6 km (3.75 miles) to arrive in Bandipur. You will also have the option to hike from Bimal Nagar to Bandipur and visit Siddha Gupha, Nepal's longest cave ever found (2 hrs trip). If it's raining, the trail can be slippery and proper gear is required. Upon arrival, check into at traditionally built accommodation and walk around the town. You may consider to visit Silk farm which is 30 minutes down.

You will have a leisurely morning breakfast and then prepare for the rafting trip. Please, pack separately the clothes and necessities for a night camping as the remainder of the luggage will go by car. We will drive to rafting put in point in Damauli which is a bit of a backtrack on the highway to Pokhara. There will be a briefing session conducted by the Rafting crews about the trip, paddling and safety techniques before you set off. All equipment, such as life vests, helmets, dry bags, spray suits, and booties are included. Depending on the water level, the first day of the trip will last 2-3 hours plus you will have an hour break to have a picnic lunch by the riverside. You will arrive at Seti River Camp around 2 to 3 p.m. The camp consists of safari-style tents with beds, a changing room, a veranda, and an attached bathroom. Soon you arrive at the camp, you will be served hot tea or coffee. All meals, including drinking water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are included.

Activity Duration:

Following breakfast, set off on the river again. There are five Class II rapids, which are 50 m long or less. The remainder of the trip is a relaxing float down that allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding nature and countryside. Depending on the water level, you should spend between 2-3 hours on the raft and usually, we conclude the river trip in Gaighat where we board awaited vehicle for drive to Chitwan.

You have a full day to embark on various jungle safari rides that includes a jeep safari, nature walk, Sun downers, walking with Elephants etc. All activities are led by university graduate naturalists with years of experience in the park. Chitwan National Park is recognized for the conservation of the great One Horned Rhinos which were almost extinct in the 1970's. Chitwan is also home to more than 150 Royal Bengal Tigers. Other wildlife include: sloth beer, 4 species of deer, 2 species of monkeys, 2 species of crocodiles, and more than 600 difference species of resident and migratory birds. We also visit indigenous Tharu Village.

Activity Duration:

In the morning, you may go for bird watching tour. Chitwan National Park provides habitat to more than 600 different species of resident and migratory birds. Within a span of 1 hour, you will be able to spot more than 30 different species of birds. Return to the resort, pack up your luggage, have breakfast and then soon depart as you will be flying back to Kathmandu today. We will drive to Bharatpur Airport (45 minute drive). It's a 25 minute scenic flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at the Kathmandu airport, we will drive to hotel. In the evening, we will walk around Thamel, a tourist hub in Kathmandu. In the evening, we will host farewell dinner.
