After early breakfast, we drive to Telkot for 1 hour, a local village on the way to Nagarkot.
We start our hiking and hike for around 20 minutes along the steep steps to get the Hindu temple. We spend few minutes at the temple and continue our hike. In few places we pass through main motor way only for few minutes. During the hike, we see mountains; pass by local villages, jungle, fields etc. If you are lucky, you can see people preparing local alcohol (Rakshi) made of millet, rice or maize in big pot with firewood. Upon arrival at Nagarkot town, we will have lunch at one of the view point restaurant/hotel’s restaurant. After some rest, we drive to Nagarkot View Point which is 20 minutes away from the town. From the Car park, we walk for 5 minutes on steps to get to the view point.
After spending some time, we walk down to the car and drive back to Kathmandu.
Note: You can stay overnight at Nagarkot to see Sunset and Sunrise or if you want to make trip little longer, you can visit Changunarayan Temple, temple of Lord Vishnu and hike to Telkot(1.5 Hours) and continue our Nagarkot trail. Also, you can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square on your way back.
