Overview

Langtang Valley Trek is one of the wildest treks in the mountains of Nepal. Often termed as ‘Valley of Glaciers’, this area is equally rich in culture and bio diversity. Being in short distance and half day drive from capital Kathmandu city, offering magnificent views of mountains, wilderness and culture, it has marked itself a  favorite trekking destination. This inner valley attached part of the Langtang National Park is also home for many endangered wild animals including Red Panda and abundant of Wild Flowers. The sub alpine meadow lands, far corner of glacier moraine and optional day trip to Tserko Ri for the dramatic views of peaks are main attractions. Also trekking into this region provides opportunity to witness Tamanag People and Culture of Tibetan origin.

Trekking to Langtang Valley starts with a cultural tour of Kathmandu city and half day drive to Syaprubeshi passing through beautiful villages, greenery and views of snow capped mountains. Our trek starts from Syabrubesi to Langtang valley and takes us to Kyanjin Gompa, a beautiful monastery. We can do any of the excursions from here to Kyanjin Ri at 4,773 m and  Tserko Ri at 4,983 m. Tserko Ri is the highest point of our treks which offers the magnificent views of Langtang Himal and its neighbors.

The best time for trekking in Langtang Region is  from March to May and Mid September to Mid December. This is one of the best choices to avoid the traffic of Annapurna and Everest Region.
