Overview

Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek by Helicopter is designed to explore Everest Region and its mountains, Sherpa culture, beautiful landscapes and forests in a unique sophisticated style. Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek is trekking to the Everest Region by staying at Luxury lodges and to understand the Himalayan Lifestyle. Everest Base Camp Trek by Helicopter starts from fly into Lukla by helicopter and we follow the Standard trail of Everest Base Camp up to Base Camp and Kalapatthar. After exploring world’s highest Mt. Everest’s Base Camp and witnessing Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and other neighbors from Kalapatthar, we take helicopter from Gorakshep for fly down to Lukla and to Kathmandu. We trek passing by beautiful mountain villages of Namche, Pheriche, Lobuche and understanding the Buddhist culture of Khumbu region. We pay homage at Tengboche Monastery which is the biggest monastery of the region. The Sunset view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse is something you do not have to miss. Gorakshep is 3 hours from Lobuche. After quick lunch, we trek to Everest Base Camp which is further 3 hours and return to Gorakshep. 

After reaching at Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar, we fly back to Kathmandu from Gorakshep by Private Helicopter.

The best seasons for Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek are Autumn and Spring. As the trek is challenging, we trek in more relaxed way. For accommodation, we stay at Luxury Lodges in Phakding, Namche, Syangboche, Tengboche and Debuche and stay at best available tea houses at Dingboche,Lobuche and Gorekshep as there is no luxury option.

Detail Itinerary


Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, we will receive you at the arrival lounge and assist you for visa and Immigration clearance. After collecting baggage, we will drive to hotel. Free afternoon and in the evening, we will brief about the trek and the plan. In the evening, we arrange Nepali Dinner at Krishnarpan at Dwarikas Hotel.

Activity Duration:

This day, our city tour guide takes you for sightseeing of Kathmandu valley to see few monuments. First, we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square and pay homage to living Goddess, Kumari and walk around the square. Then we drive to Pashupatinath Temple which is a Hindu Temple for Lord Shiva at the bank of Holy Bagmati River. Then we end our day by visiting Boudhanath Stupa which is the biggest Stupa of Asia.

Activity Duration:

After breakfast, late morning we fly to Lukla Tenzing Hillary Airport by Private Helicopter and after preparation we trek to Phakding. Lukla is a gateway to Everest Region. This is the first day of our trek which is the easiest flat trail takes you to the beautiful village of Phakding.

Activity Duration:

We follow the level path along the bank of river and climb towards the Dudh Koshi valley. We will pass villages of Benkar, Monjo and Jorsele. There is a beautiful waterfall at Benkar. After a short climb we will have lunch at Jorsele. Soon, we will be at V shaped valley where Dudh Koshi(On left) and Bhote Koshi(On right) meet. After crossing the high suspension bridge over Bhote Koshi, we make a steep ascend to Namche Bazaar. This is the biggest town in this area.

Activity Duration:

After leisurely breakfast, we walk around the Namche town and hike to Everest View Lodge at Syangboche. After having lunch, we visit Khumjung Village (3,790m) to see Khumjung School and hospital founded by Sir Edmund Hillary. We return to Everest View Lodge for overnight. Everest View Lodge provides the best view of Mt. Everest and it’s neighbors.

Activity Duration:

We continue our trail via Thasingo to Phunki Tenga. Enroute, we see the magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Lotse, Nuptse and Tawetse. We descend to the river bank at Phunki for lunch. After rest, we continue steep ascent until the half way and gradually ascent until the stone gate appears build by the Lamas. We are here at Tengboche where a famous Tengboche Monastery is. The view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Amadablam during the sunset time is magnificent. Stay till Sunset at Tengboche and descend down to Debuche or we can stay at Himalayan Lodge in Tengboche. From Tengboche, Debuche is 30 minutes descend through rhododendron forest and long Mani wall.

From Debuche, we cross Imja Khola (River) and after a short climb, we get to Pangboche (3,885m). After lunch, we may go to the Old monastery where we see Yeti Scalp. Then we make our moderate way to enter Imja valley. We continue until we reach to the confluence of Lobuche River and the trail goes uphill from the river to Dingboche. As soon as we enter Dingboche, we get to see beautiful fields guarded by stone walls to protect crops like barley, potatoes and buckwheat from cold and animals.

Accomodation: Overnight at Tea House/Lodge in Dingboche.

Activity Duration:

This day, you will be staying at Dingboche for the proper acclimatization. We will hike to Chukung (4,730 m) from where we can see Amadablam and Ama Lapcha with other mountains. Also we meet climbers to Island Peak.

Activity Duration:

After breakfast, continue trek up to the valley to the tiny settlement of Dungla on the adventurous moraine of the great Khumbu glacier, and then climb steeply up and on to Lobuche. Evening, enjoy Sunset at Nuptse peak.

This will be the most difficult yet rewarding day of the trek. To go to the Everest beyond Lobuche, the trail follows through besides the Khumbu Glacier. From a high point here, the rubble-covered hill of Kalapatthar in the front of Mt. Mount Everest can be seen as it passes a lake of often frozen. And continue to witness the Everest Base Camp of world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest (8,848 m). Gorakshep is 3 hours from Lobuche. After quick lunch, we trek to Base Camp which is further 3 hours and we return to Gorakshep for overnight.

Activity Duration:

Early morning, steep ascend to Kalapatthar or Black Hill which takes around 1and ½ hours to 2 hours. This might be the most challenging but the trekkers get the most magnificent panoramic views of the mountains. Mt. Everest(8,848m), the highest point in the earth towers directly ahead and all the sides loom the giants, Nuptse, Pumori, Chantse, Lhotse and countless other peaks. After spending some time, return to Gorakshep and breakfast. After spending little time at Gorekshep, we fly back to Kathmandu by Private Helicopter. On our way back flight, we fly above Base Camp and Kalapatthar once to have the last glimpse. In the evening, we host grand dinner to celebrate and mark the success of your trek to the world’s highest Mt. Everest’s Base Camp.
